Orphan DB

  • How to solve orphan database error?

  • Can you explain your question further? Databases don't become orphaned....

  • DB backup brought from a different server and when trying to restore - it is showing - orphan database. I googled and found that it is related to user unavailability. Please explain a bit.

  • Where is it showing and what exactly is it showing?

Users can certainly be orphaned, databases however can't, so it's not completely clear what your problem is.

  • Post exact command you are executing and what exact error you are getting so that people can help you.
