order for dropping - recreating indexes

    can someone please tell me what would be the order for dropping/re-creating indexes before an ETL load happens. Also why are non-clustered indexes built when we rebuilt clustered indexes.thanks

    I would recreate the clustered index first.

    Second part of your question. What is the code that you are running to rebuild indexes? The answer to your question may be in the code.

    this was in general...assume through maintenance plan
