Need help locating a driver that works. We current environment is SQL Server 7 sp4 on Windows NT 4.0 EE.
Having a problem with the Microsoft supplied odbc driver for Oracle. We're running into the following problem Connection Timeout and Query Timeout Not Supported with Microsoft Oracle ODBC Driver and OLE DB Provider

Has anyone tried using a differnt driver and please don't say Merant - I have had nighmares using those drivers as well.

You better use an OLE DB Provider that supplied with your Oracle Client CD ROM. The OLE DB Provider that supplied by Microsoft cannot use for some version of Oracle, especially Oracle 9i
