Somebody has a document that explain the reasons why MSSQL and Oracle shouldn't been installed in the same server.
Please if somebody has any information let me know it and reach me in my mail zvazquez@riverland-america.com
Thanks in advance

WOW, why would you even do such a thing on a server? They are both highly resource intensive, processor, memory, NIC, etc.. They would always be in contention. I know of no such paper, but thats because I have never considered such a thing. Just because you can, does not mean you should. IMO you should keep you SQL Server box as pristine as possible.

I'm know that, I know that the both RDBMS will fight for the CPU and MEM resources and also may be I would find problems with DLL's and TCP ports, moreover this server maybe will be a productive system.
This is the point I need a document from Microsoft or Oracle or perhaps of other independent consulting company that said than this is NOT a "best practice".
I've looked for a document in the microsoft and oracle web, but I haven't found nothing. Maybe if somebody has a link or a document and could send to me , I'll aprreciate that.
Thanks again for your comments
