Hi SQL Server Central Community,
I am looking for your opinion.
Where would be the best place(forum/sites) to get small SQL scripting contracts... I am a programmer with about 10 years experience and actually enjoy programming SQL.
PS: I don`t like Oracle that much 😀
I look forward to your comments.
Thanks!

I know there sites like rent a coder and stuff where people bid/lowball programming services based on the often poorly defined requirements of a post there. If you have a huge collegtion of various programs you can quickly adapt to the given requriement there, you can make some fast money.
Word of mouth goes a long way as well. Ping previous contacts to see if they have any one off conversions or processes they want to streamline...
Depending on your skillset you could offer selling web site updates or email campaigns

Thanks for the suggestions Lowell, I looked a bit for those "rent a coder" communities, talking about lowball, the programmers on those sites are willing to work for not much :-)... I was hoping that I might have missed some highly recommended sites/forums...I will look with previous contacts like you mentioned and see what comes out of it.

I would suggest using GOOLE, for example I entered
"temporary employment agencies in cleveland ohio". and found reference to 47 different agencies.
Clicked on a few to visit their web site and most all had a link that let you post the job you were looking for, and your resume ... You might want to try that for wherever you are residing
