Hi All,
I am maintaining 2 days snapshots for my database.one snapshot a day.
i am getting operating system error 665 and my old snapshot is going to suspended state after 1 day.
The operating system returned error 665(The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation) to SQL Server during a write at offset 0x00001e58180000 in file ''G://MSSQL11.PSAPP20//MSSQL//DATA//Datamap_2_20160713.snap''. Additional messages in the SQL Server error log and system event log may provide more detail. This is a severe system-level error condition that threatens database integrity and must be corrected immediately. Complete a full database consistency check (DBCC CHECKDB). This error can be caused by many factors; for more information, see SQL Server Books Online.

Just out of curiosity, how big are these databases, and how much data is changing daily?

Database size is 300 GB
Having 2 datafiles each about 120 GB

The sparse file size is around 60GB when snapshot is going to Suspended state. I have 600 GB free space in disk . and auto growth is 100 MB for database
