Does MS SQL Server come with any software that is considered Open Source?
Does anyone know if Red Gate tools are considered Open Source?

Sql Server does not come with any open source software.
RedGate tools are not open source either.

SQL does have the SQL Server Health & History (SQLH2) tool that is opensource now.

Yeah, but that doesn't ship with SQL Server.

True. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Most of what is done behind the scenes can be accomplished using scripts, which there are more than enough of on sites like this in the scripts sections.
