Yepp, Why don't you use the GUI shipped with SQL 2005 itself if you are doing it just for one.

Urg .. Not a long rant but why do people have in their mind SQL Server backup is not online?
Everyone at my work seems to think that to, I have correct soo many people about that now it's not even funny.
I been using SQL from 6.5; and even then the backups were done live.. where did this backups not live come from?

I haven't used MySQL for so long I can't even remeber that ... thanks! I'll have to tell them next time LOL ... the biggest reason everyone gives me to go to 3rd party sql agent backup is aaaa SQL BACKUPS ARE NOT LIVE x.x
Urg .. I almost had a fit one day LOL... 😛 Meh I tell yaa the industry needs major case of re-edumacation when it comes to Microsoft SQL Server heh.

we use Netbackup Enterprise Server to backup SQL, but all it does is use the MS API to run the backups to tape. same with almost every other 3rd party product out there.
2 years ago i helped our devs backup a mysql/webserver they had for their department. Netbackup didn't have a backup agent for it and looking around i found you had to buy one from some third company. then i heard the former CEO speak and it explained everything

I think Idera offers a free "Light" version of it's backup software. It would be good if you need the compression, otherwise use SQL as suggested.
