Of about a dozen publications (and a dozen subscriptions), only one shows "never started". All of the others show "running". The history shows successfully processing many scripts and loading many records into tables, but still shows "never started". All of the publications in question are from SERVER1 and all subscriptions on SERVER2. The distributor is SERVER1.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Did I do a bone-head thing somewhere?

Stop the agent and restart it. See if this clears the condition.

I have stopped all of the agents and restarted them. I even deleted the subscription and publication and completely recreated both (the publication first of course). Then started, stopped, restarted multiple times.
The DBs match after the main song and dance is done. When something changes in the original DB, the replicated one changes appropriately and almost immediately.
The other replications show "running"; this is the only one that shows "not started".
