  HI i am facing a problem on a production server which is giving users slow query results and occassionial timeouts during 2hours in the morning.

  i ran a trace, and sql nexus for the morning period and nothing to significant usually activity.

  But nexus reports 99% active thread time on OLEDB and lock blocking with durations over 1 minute.

  The cpu, disk and memory seem fine just a massive bottle neck on oledb and no stored procedure that looks like its killing any of the resources.

  Any thoughts??

  Are you using SQL Server 2005 performance Dashboard?
