  I just noticed that if I go to the following URL:

  https://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/FindPost2008760.aspx

  it redirects to the following URL:

  https://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/reply/2012491

  which takes me to that post ONLY (i.e. the rest of the thread that the post is a part of is not there). This seems rather undesirable.

   

  It should instead produce the same result as the new style of post-specific link:

  https://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/topic/undoing-compression#post-2012491
