American workers just can't compete with some one in India who will do their job for $5,000 a year tops and work 14 hours a day six to seven days a week. I have said this for years on this forum alone. Until that is addressed, or US companies are heavily penalized for doing it, offshoring of American jobs will continue. 😀

Is this in response to something? Or just felt the need to vent? (That happens.)
We can compete on some of that, generally by total quality and cost of service. We can't compete on some of it. And we shouldn't bother to compete on some of it.
Unemployment is an artifact of the industrial age. Maybe it needs to become obsolete, like steam power. Would change the definition of "money", but maybe it's time for that to be rethought.
