Offline DB

  I had to take a database offline but it took ages and crashed. At first I couldn't access it but once I refreshed ask a I can. 
  However the original web application won't open. Any suggestions

  I suggest doing a DBCC checkdb to rule

  out any corruptions. Also pls check the status of the database in sysdatabases.
