ODS (Creating your own Extended Stored Procedure)

  • Microsoft refers to samples in the following location:

    x:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\DevTools\Samples\ODS

Where x is your installed drive.

Does anyone have these as i do not seem to be able to get them onto my system.

  • It is really small, I can email to youwith no issue. However, you should be able to run the install and do custom setup to get them onto your machine they. I also believe you will find unzip_ods.exe on the disk.

Also for more help on build Extended Stored Procedures and sampel goto http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/bldgapps/ba_highprog_3fg3.asp and you will find in the tree on the left help in the

Enterprise Development->Development->Windows Server System->Microsoft SQL Server->Microsoft SQL Server 2000->Building SQL Server Applications->Extended Stored Procedure Programming

section some help. Also the link I provided should already be expanded for that level.
