  Dear all,

  I have a db on my windows xp pc on a local network,

  and i want to connect to this db from another windows xp pc on the same network with a very small windows application, so i want to create the odbc on the client's pc, when i create the odbc there i got this error:

  Connection Failed:

  SQLSTATE: '01000'

  SQL Server Error: 233

  [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL server driver][DBNETLIB]Connection open (PreLoginHandshake())

  Connection failed:

  SQLState: '08001'

  SQL Server error: 11

  [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL server driver][DBNETLIB]General Network error. Chcek your network documentation

  i want to know why??
