Since March 11, 2007 consistently for the past 3 weeks after midnite connections to my SQL-2000 database seize. When trying to connect I usually get the follwing ODBC error 80040E21.
Upon rebooting, all is well for another week.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?

try to do odbcping if that helps.

Based on the following link, the error may come from inserts.

It is hard to explain why your system works for about one week after rebooting, unless your data is periodic.
Other input is greatly appreciated.
