Now and Then Jobs on SQL Server 2000 SP4 Enterprise Fail

    Can Anyone help me out here ?

    I Now and then receive below error in my SQL logs on jobs.

    Often these jobs run well and now and then they fail as described below.

    Blow job is just one example, it happens with other jobs as well

    Messages:

    SQL Server Scheduled Job 'Optimizations Job for DB Maintenance Plan 'All databases''

    (0xA5BA34553EC76544A1D1645E9C11C1E2)

    - Status: Failed - Invoked on: 2006-06-22 22:45:00

    - Message: The job failed.  Unable to determine if the owner (sa) of

    job Optimizations Job for DB Maintenance Plan 'All databases'

    has server access (reason: Unable to connect to server - check SQL Server and SQL Server Agent errorlogs)

    I have had somehting fairly similar before, where the accounts are domain accounts, and for some reason the server cannot connect to the domain controller to verify the account... ensuing, as you may guess, in much hilarity.
