Hi,
We are planning to upgrade from sql server 2000 to 2005.I have checked the components installed in sql server 2000.But I did not find the Notification Services. Where can I check whether the Notification Services is installed or not?

Have a look at the services running on the box. If Notification Services is not there then it is not installed.
Be aware that Notification Services is deprecated in SQL Server 2008. If you are not already using it then you should not start to use it.
