Hi,
I am doing restoring the database using Enterprise Manager and the backup file is in the local hard drive ( back up file is imported from the remote server recently).
But i am not able to do backup.
Pls help me , i will be great enough if you help me in this case.

I do not like to use EM for this - you'll need with move option if these are not backups from the particular device.
Try to make yourself a restore DB statement with Move option - check the syntax in the BOL. Put your fisical paths for the backup file and their names. Be aware though that the logical file names you must use may be different - select them in advance or just view the name in your SQL_data directory...
How do you try to backup the DB? Do you get an error message? Do you have a device defined or ...
