here we are trying to connect the server which is in network.
Here protocals,remote desktop option enabled, we can able to ping also.we are domain users and we have the access to server also
still we are unable to connect.
What could be the reason and what steps we need to follow

Do you get an error message? Is the sql service running?

No i didn't get any error message here we are not able to login to remote system which is installed sql in production server.

OK so you open RDP and type in the server name...what error message do you get? This of course has absolutely nothing with sql server but we can try to help.
