  I configured Database Mail and enabled Mail Profile in SQL Server Agent but still I dont get any emails to my gmail id. I get the following error

  The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (A non-recoverable error occurred during a database lookup).

  )

  Can anyone help on this issue. Thanks in advance.

  Hi

  Try to configure your GMAIL account in Outlook client in your PC and try sending the emails.

  If it works, then post here how have you configured the Database Mail and enabled Mail Profile in SQL Server Agent,I mean the steps, that will give a better understanding.
