I have been trying to install SQL Server 2016 CTP for some time, but I keep getting the same error message:
A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.) (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)
This also reports an error of 233.
I have searched the web high and low for a possible solution to no avail.
I am currently running under Windows 10 Enterprise.
How do I resolve this problem?

I know this is an old question and hope this got resolved for you.
Usually this happens when namedpipes is not enabled. I had a similar issue and got it resolved by this way.
I would be happy to know if you had implemented any other way to fix it.
