No output columns appearing from an ole db data source

    I have in a data flow task an ole db data source which is attempting to connect via a SQL Command from variable. The SQL command is running a stored procedure. When I click preview it pulls back data, but when I go in to the columns tab it shows no columns. Running the package also displays an error stating ole db source output contains no output columns. An asynchronous output must contain output columns.

    I tried manually entering the columns in to the external columns in advanced editor but this just results in the task becoming out of synchronisation.

    Any ideas please?

    Interestingly I have the same problem and I have this onlt after a change in stor proc after including colums, the metadata didn't refresh even after using "SET FMTONLY ON;  ", which is my trick to refresh metadata.
