No option to ad IP when installing as cluster

    Hey all,

    Have done many 2008 cluster installs, but this is a new one on me. When I get to the cluster network config screen, there are no boxes under the columns for ip type, dhcp, address, etc. for me to enter an address. If I simply hit next, it errors stating "IP address not found. To create a SQL Server failover cluster, specify at least one IP address."

    Any suggestions?

    Actually ... I'm thinking it may be because the DTC resource is offline due to a duplicate IP conflict. Yet I don't understand how DTC plays a role as I thought it wasn't a dependency of the cluster install unless you utilize client tools on the server? I am ONLY installing the engine.

    Disregard, I'm a big dummy ... public network was down.
