April Fool's!

Personally I hate NULL and all the hassles it causes.
I was bummed when I saw it was a joke LOL

Good 'un, Steve. I wonder how many folks tried to Topeka this notion.

Thanks,
A laugh during an otherwise serious day is worth a lot. Thanks for the smile!

I thought the Linux one was old, though perhaps it may be recycled in the future. 😉

I think that the NULL / NIL would be interesting...

awwww man, I was going to make so much money selling my NULL Virtual Layer to people needing backward compatability.

For a second there, I was horrified.

Well done.

I was sitting at work a minute ago thinking, great, no one has gotten me this April Fool's. Then I read your editorial. Nice job! 😀

OK, you got me too. I had even pulled a great one on one of my customers. It, unfortunately, sounded like something Microsoft would do (to us).:w00t:

I'm a sucker. I'm sitting here thinking about implications, wanting to take notes, getting ready to post questions to boards... I gotta remember the date when I read these things.
Why memorize dates when you only need to look it up?

Ah Steve,You had to spoil the joke with a disclaimer.
Of course, this is also an April Fool's joke and is in no way based on reality. It's entirely a work of fiction, and I hope you have a smile on your face at this point.
The joke would've been more effective without.
Wait for a day or two to reveal the joke. That would have been classic fun too.
