No history in jobs

    Hi Guys,

    A quick questions.

    Does any one have any idea why my job are not showing any history when I right click on the job and select Job History...all I get is a message saying that there is no history for the job.

    Any thoughts?

    Edit the job steps and go to the Advanced tab. Make sure that the option to 'Append output to step history' is ticked.

    Also right click in enterprise manager on 'SQL Server Agent' and display properties. Under the Job System tab make sure there is a sensible number in Max job history rows per job and Max job history log size fields.
