I installed SQL Server 2008 with SP1 (build 10.0.2531) on e W2008 Server with SP1. I expect to see the option Activity Monitor under de Managment folder, but nothing. According BOL 2008 that IS weer I am to find this.
So I checked an SQL2008 installation on W2003 with all the updates, and the same thing there: no Activity Monitor.
Have I done something wrong? Is this a known issue?
EDIT: Right, I found it. WOnderful, all these ridiculous changes in new versions.

Don't say it's ridiculous changes in the new Edition, it is an enhancement.
The info it presents the data about the Instance Activity is really good.

Functionality is indeed enhanced. I was referring to how to start the Activity Monitor. What was wrong with the previous way to start it? What kind of enhancement gives the current way of starting things?
Also, from BOL2008 comes this:
In SQL Server Management Studio, connect to the server with Object Explorer, expand Management, and then double-click Activity Monitor
