New Words

    I have learnt the following new words from this site.

    Cater - Provide what is wanted

    Intended - Planned for the future

    proposal - plan , suggested idea or plan

    juggle - have dificulty holding something ( i was juggling coffee and a plat of pizza in one hand)

    beef up = make stronger

    curiosity - A desire to know or learn

    curious - Interested,questioning

    spooling - curious,interested,questioning

    bestow - To Present as a gift or To Apply

    garage - A building or indoor space in which to park or keep a motor vehicle

    concur - To be of the same opinion or To act together

    jackass - A foolish or stupid person or A male *** or donkey

    curious - Eager to know

    foe - personal enemey,An enemy in war

    Adversary - An opponent,Enemy

    quiesce - become quit or quiter

    obscuring - make unclear, indistinct, or blurred,make less visible or unclear; "The stars are obscured by the clouds"; "the big elm tree obscures our view of the valley"

    blurred - unclear in form or expression

    delicious - greatly pleasing or entertaining; "a delightful surprise"; "the comedy was delightful"; "a delicious joke"

    pleasing - giving pleasure and satisfaction; "a pleasing piece of news"; "pleasing in manner and appearance"

    delicacy - something considered choice to eat

    recurring - be repeated indefinitely , occur again

    cou·ra·geous - brave,able to face and deal with danger or fear without flinching

    val·iant - A brave person,Possessing valor Possessing - To have a property or own i.e owning Courage and Brave

    val·or - Courage and boldness, as in battle; bravery

    extensive - Large in range or amount

    accomplishment - something completed successfully, an achievement or an ability that has been acquired by training

    fac·tor - One that actively contributes to an accomplishment, result, or process: "Surprise is the greatest factor in war"

    - anything that contributes causally to a result

    - broker or agent

    circumstance - a condition that accompanies or influences some event or activity

    wand -Magic Stick

    surpassing - exceeding

    inspired - motivated , encouraged

    quite - To the greatest extent; completely: quite alone; not quite finished.

    - Actually; really: I'm quite positive about it.

    - To a degree; rather: quite soon; quite tasty.

    - actually or truly or to an extreme; "was quite a sudden change"; "it's quite the thing to do"; "quite the rage"; "Quite so!"

    solidify - To make hard or strong

    fact - reality or truth

    scare - Fear , Sudden fear or alarm,frighten

    inflation - price rises or increase

    invade - occupy,attach,enter by force,march in,"Hitler invaded Poland on September 1, 1939"

    touting - Show off

    Phrases :

    bear down

    1. To advance in a threatening manner: The ship bore down on our canoe.

    2. To apply maximum effort and concentration: If you really bear down, you will finish the task.

    bear out

    To prove right or justified; confirm: The test results bear out our claims.

    bear up

    To withstand stress, difficulty, or attrition: The patient bore up well during the long illness.

    idioms:

    under/in no circumstances - In no case ,never

    under/in the circumstances - given these conditions ,such beign the case

    bear down on

    To effect in a harmful or adverse way: Financial pressures are bearing down on them.

    bear fruit

    To come to a satisfactory conclusion or to fruition.

    bear in mind

    To hold in one's mind; remember: Bear in mind that bridges freeze before roads.

    I have donated 200 grains of rice.:)
