Hello,
i'm a beginner in sql Server Replication and I hope someone in this community can help me and give me hints how to handle the whole thing.
The situation is... I have an SQL Server 2000 Standard with one Database. Now there are some Notebooks (at this time 3) with the msde and the same database. The problem is they must be sync at the end of the day . They will be connected with a vpn connection with the network or maybe they have only e-mail and such options to get sync. On both - the sevrer and the notebooks can have updates to the data.
How can I resolve this problem? I think with the merge replication - are there any other ways?
best regards
andreas

sounds like merge replication with identity range handling might be your best bet... I dunno, you might want to look into transaction replication as well, but I am not the person to ask about that.
