New Subscription "To" Address.. comes from where?

  • Hi,

We are a Lotus Notes company.

We have set up Reporting Services on a SQL 2000, Win 2000 server.  A notes client is not installed on this server.

I would like people to connect to the report server and set up their own subscriptions.  The current value of the SendEmailToUserAlias is set to TRUE in the RSReportServer.config.  I'd like to force the "TO" value rather than allow it to be editable.

I can not determine where the "TO" value is coming from.  Does anyone know?  Does it default to the network login account (that seems to be what is occurring)?  How can it be forced to look at the active directory email address for the network login account?  Is there a way to have the report server look to the Notes Name and address book?

    Thanks

  • You'll need to connect into the web service for this.  There's a very good article at http://www.odetocode.com/Articles/114.aspx that shows how to do this.
