question is... don't see much on sql server.
does any one have some dirt on this regarding sql server?

Nothing to worry...in many forums this one discussed..
As you know sql server uses time from OS so as long as os got the patch sql should be fine.
Note: I heard MS releasing patch for windows 2003 but not windows 2000...
