.NET windows application in WIN 95

    Guyz,

    can i run my .NET windows application in WIN 95

    i tried installing the .NET framework but cant

    is there any way?

    The minimum system requirements suggests that you can but I am not sure about the qualification they put about running VC++.NET.

    I seem to remember there are some additional issues with running Windows 95 on machines that exceed a certain spec.  I'm not sure what that spec is but is there a chance that the minimum system requirements for .NET exceed the spec that Win95 can run under.

    Getting .NET to run under Win95 strikes me as being similar to climbing a mountain because it is there.

    Maybe .Net 1.0 will work on Win95, but I'm pretty sure that .Net 1.1 won't.

    You must have a compelling need to do this on Win95.

    Can you upgrade the system to at least Win98SE?
