Need to move an MDF of one instance in a two instances mirrored architecture

  Hi everyone.

  Just to be sure.

  I have to move a MDF from one device to another in a sql instance that is mirrored with witness.

  I would love to do this without stopping both istances.

  What would be the best sequence of actions to accomplish this?

  I think this is what you need:

  The only downtime will be the failover part.
