What is the best product that allows us to create a fancy database diagram (one that can be printed on a plotter and hung on the wall for everyone to see). Looking for something more than "Diagrams" in SQL Server, such as relationships, ability to make separate data marts, etc. Thank you.

Don't know any free ones. If you have Office Pro, Visio will work.
Paint I guess

Take a look at Qdesigner from Quest.

I use SmartDraw for all network, flow chart, UML, etc. diagrams:

It's cheaper than Visio and you can download a free trial. In a pinch, I've even used the Drawing tools in MS Word.
All the best,

We have found Case Studio 2 to be good and not very expensive. You can create drawings by importing the SQL and vice-versa, so it gives you that bit more than drawing. There is a downloadable demo copy available.
Some things we do use SmartDraw for though, it depends exactly what you want.

ERWIN data modeler is the "best" product. It's expensive and may be overkill for what you're trying to accomplish.

ER/Studio from Embarcadero is another good product comparable to (better than, IMHO) ERwin. Again, kinda pricey and probably overkill as well.
