If you never setup Database Mail then read this: Database Mail Configuration Wizard
If you never configured SQL Agent to use Database Mail then read this: How to: Configure SQL Server Agent Mail to Use Database Mail
Configure an Operator: How to: Create an Operator
After these steps the Alert and Notifications pages in your Agent Job Properties should contain operator names for you to choose.

have you followed the steps which opc.three gave?
if so you should of created an operator which you can define as the operator to email in the job notification properties
