  I never used SQL Server 2012. I need to install on one of our server and the system admin installed the ISO file and he provided the infor as

  SQL Server 2012 enterprise edition SP1- per core

  SQL Server 2012 enterprise edition SP1- server/CAL

  Is it SP1 for SQL Server 2012 or the whole SQL 2012 with SP1? Please help!!!

  google SQL Server 2012 license guide. SQL Server 2012 Enterprise edition is only core based and not CAL. The names of the iso's are probably wrong.
