Interestingly, Bob's query, while undeniably compact, still scans the source table twice.

You fail to ascertain that performance was not my primary design criterion. 😛

Bob, you could meet your design criteria more closely by putting a semicolon on the end of it.

I am sorry, I couldnt make it clear. I just need to find out the item which has different value. But, i don't want to touch the item which has only one value or same value multiple times.
