Need help on formatting

    Hello Friends,

    I am learning the Reporting services using a book and I am going through the RDLs which they have provided as samples. There is one RDL for which I could not figure out how they have designed the RDL in that format.

    I am attaching the Design format provided by the book. Please provide me the steps to having this design format.

    you will want to look into row groups, these baffle me a lot of the time.

    i still cant get them to work by doing it manually, so i just copy an existing tablix which has the row groups setup and then change the tablix properties to do the formatting in that way.

    Hey Anthony,

    Thanks for your response mate... Yeah, it baffles me as well few times.. But I was able to bring that format just now...It took me around 2 hours to figure it out after so many changes... Anyways, I am happy that I learnt few new things while doing that..

    I'm sure I will get a moment to sit down and learn this stuff instead of just copy and pasting a tablix every time I need different row groups. Just trying to find the time, with work and brushing up for the 70-432 exam next week.
