need help intentionally causing blocking...

    Hi Folks,

    Thanks in advance for your attention, and hopefully your help.

    I'm testing a change to a script which monitors and records information about blocking queries.... but to test it, I need to cause blocking. That's not exactly my forte.

    Can someone provide a couple of queries which when run simultaneously, will always cause blocking?
