Hi,
Suppose if I have one physical host machine with ESX (not Hyper-v). On that physical machine there are 4 VM's
I have SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition-Per Core and SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition-Per Core. I want to install SQL Server 2012 on all 4 VM servers.
SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition on 3 VM servers and
SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition on one VM server
Will this become a compliance issue if different SQL Server 2012 Editions are installed on all VM server having only one physical host.
Thanks in advance,
Nikhil Desai

I am not sure but as long as you have valid licenses, its not a compliance issue to install different editions of SQL Server on multiple VMs hosted on same physical host.

I absolutely would not seek licensing advice on the internet. Microsoft is going to decide if you're in compliance or not. I'd go there to ask.
