Need clarification in datamodel

    hi,

    i have data model with the tables Student, Stu_fees, course,branch,Course_type, batch, region, city, state, country, attendance

    can any one say which is the fact table and dimension table in the above given....

    my guess would be student fees and attendance , fact tables are used for data that needs aggregation, in your case these are the only two tables i see. however there is no reason why a table cannot be a dimension as well as fact.
