Yep thats a good one to read, more of a overview to SSAS, the one I provided is more of a hands on, lets go build a cube tutorial.

The Microsoft Data Warehouse Toolkit by Joy Mundy and Warren Thornthwaite with Ralph Kimball is a really good high-level book that covers how to design and build a full BI solution from the data warehouse or datamart all the way up to the user interface. Knowing SSAS isn't enough to go out and start building cubes if you really want to do it right.
If you can afford the time and money, Pragmatic Works has some really good online, instructor-lead training. Information on their SSAS class can be found at http://pragmaticworks.com/Services/training/Course/Pragmatic-SSAS-Training.aspx. The time investment isn't too bad at four three-hour sessions plus labs but the $795 can be a little steep if you don't have an employer or patron to cover it. The classes are taught by knowledgeable and experienced consultants are are regularly in the trenches working with companies on real solutions, not Microsoft trainers with little-to-no real-world experience.
BTW, SSAS didn't change in 2012 so 2008 R2 resources will probably be just as good as the 2012 stuff.

I have used Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services 2008 with MDX for this. I found it very intuitive and a great tutorial that is hands on. I have always liked the WROX books. Also, I second the Stairway to MDX here at SSC. http://www.sqlservercentral.com/stairway/72404/
