Need advice: ''Execution of a full-text operation failed''

    Hi,

    When I tried to create or rebuild a fulltext catalog the following error-message appears:

    Msg 7689, Level 16, State 1, Line 1

    Execution of a full-text operation failed. 'The form specified for the subject is not one supported or known by the specified trust provider.'

    Never seen before. Also restarting Service doesn't help.

    This is a security error related to digital signatures. It doesn't have that much to do with Full Text, except that Full Text doesn't run in the same process as MS SQL Server, so apparently, MS SQL Server can't call into Full Text due to security issues.

    Looks like you may have to re-register the DLLs used by the Full Text engine.
