I'm having a discussion with some people at work at wanted some input for you sql masters.
Is there a benefit to naming a sql transaction? other than being able to roll it back to a marker.

It can be useful for troubleshooting. You can see the transactions by name if you select sys.dm_tran_active_transactions.
