    Hello - I am inheriting some SQL Server servers and can't login to SQL Server Management Studio.

    No one knows anything about these servers. It is unknown what windows accounts are authorized or a login that uses SQL Server authentication.

    How can I open SQL Serevr Management Studio and connect to the instance?

    Starting SQL Server in single-user mode enables any member of the computer's local Administrators group to connect to the instance of SQL Server as a member of the sysadmin fixed server role.
