    It also told me that it was "closed" before I voted, but it still let me vote and incremented the vote counter when I did.

    Same here. Voted and saw the counter increment. It just seems to be the popup text that says the poll is closed.

    I wonder if that means if anyone from MS is still looking at it.

    I hope so. There was a request prior to the SQL Server 2012 RTM that was closed, saying no time, so I opened this one this week.
