Error:The module "C:\Program Files\common files\microsoft Shared\MSEnv\TextMgrP.dll" was loaded but the call to dll register server failed with error code 0X80070005
Do you have enough permissions on your machine to edit the registery? Do you have something like spybot that blocks those (possibly silently)?
Can you reinstall the client tools and upgrade to latest sp?

Then have the tool reinstalled by someone who has the rights to. I'd first let them try to open it to see if it works under elevelated priviledges.
Then again, why do you rdp into a server to work instead of using your own laptop?

If you also have Visual Studio 2010 SP1 on the machine there is a known bug that disables Intellisense in Management Studio. There's a Hotfix from Microsoft here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2507770
Look for the paragraph that begins "IntelliSense compatibility issue with Visual Studio 2010 SP1". We had the same problem and this HotFix did solve it for us.

Actually we faced the same issue for one of my collegue. The dll just gave the error, however it started working on it from next server start. So thought of just confirming the same.

probably he would have meant checkpoint has nothing to do with this scenario. Once the dll run, it started working on...:-)
