Hi All,
I have a multisubnet cluster over two datacentres, a node at each site with a FS witness at a separate site.
I'm using availability groups on top of this (synchronous, auto failover)
Is anyone using any non default failover policies?
I'm most interested to see if anyone has experimented with the File Share Witness policies? Testing my config with the default values, I find that the cluster group will failover each time I reboot or turn off the quorum server.
Is one restart in fifteen minutes enough??
Thanks in advance

in a 2 node cluster with a FS witness, you should not be getting a failover when the witness is not available, you still have 2 out of 3 possible votes alive.
What operating system is in use on the cluster nodes?
have you checked and verified network connectivity between the 2 sites?
Can you run a cluster validation and check the results?

Hi,
The cluster isn't failing over, the core cluster resources are (the cluster network name).
I'm thinking this is happening because the FSW is part of that group??
Thanks
