Multiple Queries in Reports

  • How generate reports from multiple queries

  • You have two options use Subreports to execute the other queries or use sp_executesql to call your other queries, there maybe other options but these two are standard operations.

    Kind regards,

  • Using SSRS you can have multiple datasets each with an individual query, you can even have them querying separate database servers

  • From within BIDS - Report Designer, on the Data tab click the dataset drop-down and choose new dataset to create as many datasets (queries) as needed. Each query may then be associated with different elements of your report(s). For example, a single report may have multiple tables each with its own dataset (query). HTH.
