How generate reports from multiple queries
March 21, 2009 at 8:28 am
You have two options use Subreports to execute the other queries or use sp_executesql to call your other queries, there maybe other options but these two are standard operations.

Using SSRS you can have multiple datasets each with an individual query, you can even have them querying separate database servers

From within BIDS - Report Designer, on the Data tab click the dataset drop-down and choose new dataset to create as many datasets (queries) as needed. Each query may then be associated with different elements of your report(s). For example, a single report may have multiple tables each with its own dataset (query). HTH.
