Hi,
I have a question.
Can I install two instances of different edition i.e. (Standard & Enterprise) of sql server 2005 on same machine.
Thanks in advance.

Yes.

Why? I believe if you have Enterprise licensed, you can have as many instances as you want of it on a machine. Wouldn't make sense to install Standard on there.

You can install. Be sure about the licences you have. The workstation components are the same for both the editions.
